Product Focus: Embossing Folders

Good Morning Happy Stampers!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

We know that there are so many amazing Stampin' Up! products out there and we're just so glad to show you a few of our favorites!

Today's product focus is on Embossing Folders.
Stampin' Up! has over 20 amazing folders to help you add textural elements to your cards and projects.  Starting this year, Stampin' Up! has increased the size of their folders from 4.5 x 5.75 to 6 x 6!!  This has been AWESOME!!  This means you can add the same great textures across larger pieces of paper (think vertically AND horizontally across your card front!) and still use with a standard Big Shot machine.

Did you know that there are different things you can do with an embossing folder?!
1:  insert paper into folder and run through machine.  Viola! instant texture.  This is your standard method of use.
2:  Insert paper and run through embossing folder....then rotate and send through again!  This will give you a wider range of use on folders with solid striped patterns.  you can create cross hatch patterns!!
3:  insert paper and run through machine.  flip paper, and offset slightly, then run through the machine again.  Using this method you can create embossed and debossed images (think Polka dots that are raised AND inset!!)
4:  Ink up either side of your embossing folder.  CAREFULLY add paper and then run through your machine.  This will give your cardstock a DOUBLE WHAMMY!!  the ink will appear as a background to your raised embossed image.

Oh the possibilities are ENDLESS!!
